How do you explain the recent advances in AI that are inspired by biological mechanisms, such as neuromorphic computing, spiking neural networks, or synaptic plasticity? Do you think these approaches are promising or misguided?
Do you think that mapping the human brain could have other benefits besides informing AI, such as improving our understanding of ourselves, our cognition, our emotions, and our behavior? Do you think that studying dysfunction could help us appreciate and enhance normal function?
